Some 102 institutions across Cameroon have been armed with sensitisation and preventive tools to wage war against HIV / AIDS.
The special package is a gift from Cameroon’s First Lady, Chantal Biya through her organisation, African Synergy against AIDS and Suffering.
Alongside its 20th anniversary celebration, African Synergy is commemorating the 7th edition of the Cameroonian Month against AIDS ahead of the 35th World AIDS Day on December 1.
On hand to handover the gifts this November 15, 2022 was the Executive Secretary of African Synergy, Jean Stephane Biatcha.
Jean Stephane Biatcha explained that the package is the First Lady’s way of confirming that the youth are her warriors in fighting against HIV and AIDS prevalence.
The recipients on their part thanked the First Lady, indicating that they are ready to go out and sensitise their peers towards preventing the killer disease.
