
The New Senior Divisional Officer Mfoundin in the Centre region, Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent has been challenged to make sure Yaounde citizens respect COVID-19 barrier measures ahead of the 2021 African Nations Football Championship, CHAN which kicks off January 16 in Cameroon.
The prescription was given by the Governor of the Centre Region, Naseri Paul Bea at the courtyard of the Yaoundé City Council Wednesday January 6, 2021 during the ceremony to install the new civil administrator of the capital city.
The Governor equally urged his new collaborator to make sure the city is clean enough to welcome other participating countries amongst other recommendations.
Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent was appointed last December 18 by Presidential decree in replacement of late Jean Claude Tsila.
Professional Career
The newly installed Senior Divisional Officer has spent over 18 years in Territorial Administration and still counting. He served as Secretary General to the Governor of the Centre Region. Before his appointment, the 47-year-old, served as Senior Divisional Officer for Mefou and Afamba Division in the Centre region.
Academic Career
Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent is a graduate from the National School Of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM). He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Law from the University of Yaoundé II-Soa. He equally has a post-graduate diploma in security studies from an Institute in Pretoria, South Africa.
Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent hails from Nguelemendouka, a locality found in the Upper-Nyong Division of the East Region of Cameroon.
