Moroccan cyclist, EL KOURAJI MOHCINE is the new bearer of the Yellow Jersey of the Cameroon International Cycling Tour.
He is winner of the 4th stage from Kribi to Douala a distance of 160.3 KM after crossing the finish line in front of the Police Station at the Douala III Council in 4 h 00 ’36”.
Rwanda Tuyizere Étienne is second while Algerian Hamza Yacine is third.
General Classification
The new wins at the fourth stage have turned the tables in the general Classification.
So far, Moroccan EL KOURAJI MOHCINE wins the yellow jersey with a cumulative time of 11h51’08”.
The second on the list also a Moroccan Cyclists, El Arbaoui Adil win 1’14” behind the first while Algeria’s Hamza Yacine is third with 1’16” behind on the yellow jersey.
Cameroon’s Performance
Ace Cameroonian cyclist, Clovis Kamzong Abossolo wins the prize for the best Cameroonian in the fourth lap and climbs to the fourth position in the general classification.
The Cameroonian of SNH velo club is 4th on the general standings at 1’16” behind the yellow jersey.
The 5th stage is the Cycling Tour is a close circuit race within the city of Douala on May 8, 2023.
The criterium will cover a distance of 109.6 km. It will ride off at 10 a.m. in front of campus A of the IUG Douala.
Local authorities have saluted the race which has come to the locality once again.
According to the Traditional Ruler of Bonadiwoto/Boko village, Essoua Mpako Ngosso Narcisse, said the rain during the race was showers of blessings to welcome the Cyclists to the Sawa land.
