Eleven devoted workers of the Cameroon Radio Television ( CRTV) have become new winners of the Crtv Best Workers’ Awards.
The awards were handed to the winners by the Director General of the Corporation, Charles Ndongo, during the traditional Labour Day ceremony.

It has become a tradition for outstanding staff of the corporation to be honoured with awards on Labour Day.
On this 137th Labour Day, staff of the corporation assembled at the esplanade of the Production Centre in Mballa ll, Yaounde to unwind and take a keen look at the affairs of the corporation.

Prior to the awards, the CRTV Director General, Charles Ndongo delivered a speech in which he called on staff to be more assiduous and devoted. He warned against irresponsible work behavior that does not honour the corporation.
The 11 Recipients of Awards
The recipients of the 2022 Best Workers’ Awards came from the 10 regional stations, the Production Centre in Mballa ll and the National Radio. They are:
First Prize : Betnga Nicole (Archivist)
Second Prize : Efuba Brangers Claude (Technical staff)
Third Prize: Akono Elaine (Editor)
Fourth Prize : Abdoulaye Ibrahim (Driver)
Fifth Prize: Moandoa Joseph Mondoa (Copyrights Clerk)
Sixth Prize : Ndikum Gillian (Administrative Assistant)
Seventh Prize : Oumarou K. Dili (Animator)
Eighth Prize : Ibrahima Chari (Administrative Staff)
Ninth Prize: Mezene Belinga Olivier (Chief of Production)
10th Prize : Mpeck Daniel Augustine (Journalist)
11th Prize : Ngom Severin (Senior Technician)
The awards serve as an encouragement to employees whose relentless efforts have contributed to fostering the growth of the corporation.
Retirees Honoured
In addition to the awards were twenty retirees who also received awards of recognition for years of relentless services to the corporation.
One of the retirees, Luma Slim Davis told reporters he feels good going on retirement. “Retirement permits me to do other things apart from what I usually do at CRTV. It permits me to take care of myself and have a schedule according to my personal wishes.”
The 137th Labour Day is done and dusted, and staff are already looking forward to the next edition with much expectations.
