33-year old Cameroon-born French Boxer, Kevin Lele Sadjo has won a prestigious belt at the WBO – Intercontinental Super-middleweight after overpowering German Sven Elbir on stoppage time by the referee.
The international boxer won after seven rounds of combat at the Palais des Sports Robert-Oubron, Créteil in France.
The victory marks the 20th win for Kevin Lele Sadjo in super middle and middle weights, with eighteen of them in KnockOuts commonly referred to as KO in boxing. In his senior career, the Cameroonian-born is yet to record a loss in the professional combats.
Kevin Lele Sadjo alias “The Punisher” is the holder of the European title of Super-middleweight and is one of the best in his discipline.
The celebrated, number seven in the WBC with no defeat yet and fourteenth in the IBF, one of the most capped in the super-middleweight (-76,203kg) was disputing with the German boxer for the WBO-Intercontinental Belt and not titles
As the books of the boxing combat keeps it, the 33-year old has a record breaking success of 20 Victories in as many fights including 18 by KO and one title of European champion.
The new WBO intercontinental champion outsmarted another crack of the discipline, Sven Elbir who counts 19 Victories including 14 KO as of now
Knowing Kevin Lele Sodja
Born in Cameroon, Kevin Lele Sadjo left Cameroon at 10 with his mother for Creteil in France where he later joined Sportive Creteil-Lusitano in the U19 national football championships.
In 2017, he ran an eatery with mostly Thailand menu. With his love for combat and boxing, Kevin Lele became French Champion in amateur heavyweight boxing.
Seven months later, he became a champion in French professional combat again after overpowering Shamil Ismailov through KO in the fourth rounds.
This led to his recognition in 2020 at the national and international levels with a distinction at the David Lemieux championship.
In 2021, Kevin Lele Sadjo accepted a European title combat with Englishman, Jack Culien, a combat he won in Manchester on stoppage time after seven rounds. He later defended this title from German Emre Cukur in seven rounds of the same competition.
